Hey Bubble-Buds!

     First we booked a flight it took some time but slow pays off! Then we were at Mount Fuji. We had some fun with the locals singing Karaoke.Next we found out the Imperial Palace was the famous palace in Tokyo. After that we watched a sweet video on Sumo wrestling and had to answer some questions.We then had the roadblock ...easy. We were then stuck ..with some sweet help we found the Yushukan War Museum. We now know that puuferfish is a Japan word.  We are now at the Peninsula Hotel in Tokyo.We are ready for some fun and cant wait for some sightseeing!

Amazing Race- Norway and Sweden

Hello Bubble-buddies!
 Date: April 27, 2011
 Time: 2:45 P.M.
Hello again sorry its late but our race from a few weeks ago was to Norway Sweden. First we were on our way on a tipsy tourney flight heading to Norway. Once we landed we were to find the capital city of Norway, Oslo. Second we went to see the reindeer racing...scary stuff. We needed to find out all of the equipment from the safety , very hard. Third we were to find out what a fjord was? A fjord is a inlet leading to the bay. Forth Trollhatten, Trollstigen is named after a famous part of Norwegian folklore we were to find out what it was, Trolls. Fifth Norwegians are famous for their winter sports , Cross country Skiing and Shooting. Sixth there were two options running and hitting targets or playing a game, Hannah and i being the athletic type we chose running. Seventh CHANCE CHANCE CHANCE our luck is coming. Eighth we were to go for a game of Snowmobiling, http://www.learn4good.com/games/cars/play_free_snowbike_arcade_snowmobile_for_kids_online.htm. Ninth we are now at a great Sweden hotel and got second. Tomorrow is going to be a awsome day we are going to meet some new Bubble Pups and hopeful meet our match.

Seventh Race - Tokyo, Japan

Hey again fans!

     Today we started our comeback( I knew 7 was my lucky number)! First we booked a flight... it took a long time to find but payed off! Then we traveled up Mount Fuji, as the clue was on the top. We jammed with the locals singing Karaoke.Then we found out the Imperial Palace was the famous palace in Tokyo! It was bubbletastic!!! After that we watched a video on Sumo wrestling and had to answer 3 questions.Then the roadblock really caught us up. We had trouble when we had to find the Yushukan War Museum, but eventually( with some help) we found it. We had to find out information on the Fugu fish, also known as pufferfish. We are currently staying in the Peninsula Hotel in Tokyo! We didn't get to see the temples, but maybe we could travel back with our winnings and see them!

Sixth Race- Oslo, Norway

Hey loyal fans!! Today was a great race(by my standards). While Team Rappers and Team Lost watched we raced our hearts out. First we had to find out the capital city of Norway, which was Oslo. Then we watched a reindeer race and had to name the vital pieces of equipment that they used. They were: a reindeer, reins, a racer, a helmet, skis and, of course a start and finish. We had to figure out what a fjord was, which is easy for me... I knew it was an inlet/bay that leads to the ocean. After that we traveled to Trollveggen, Trollhatten, Trollstigen and Trollheimen. They were all named after a creature called a troll. Trolls are an important part of Norwegian folklore. We found out what a biathlon was and that it consisted of 2 main sports: cross country skiing and shooting at targets. Detour: run around the school and shoot at the bowling pins.We ended up running 4 laps. Then we were ahead of all the teams but 1.CHANCE CHANCE CHANCE: We rolled and immediately got a medicine to rid us of diareah. Then we had to travel to Stockholm, Sweden by snowmobile. We got there first, but only by 2 or 3 seconds. Then we had to find the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjarvi and only missed being in first by 5 seconds! That was a close call, but no winning this round. I wanted to do some sightseeing, though! Nidaros Cathedral is the largest medieval building in Scandinavia and is regarded as Norway’s national shrine. I wish we could've seen it!

Fifth Race - London, England

Hey again!

              We had a rough week in London. First we needed to find out who the head of the British Monarch and how many years they had been in this position. The answer was Queen Elizabeth the 2nd and she had done this since Feb. 6, 1952. Then we had to figure out what the "eye" of London is. It's the largest Ferris wheel in the world and was finished in 1999. We did a puzzle and had to put the pieces back together. We saw the Stonehedge and had to build a small scale model. Lots of teams had trouble with that, but we got it on our first try. Then it was a roadblock! Mary wanted to do it, but I insisted on eating the "99 flake". She got a bit mad after that, partially because I told the referee to yield Team Losers. After I told them maybe we could work out a deal. Then we had to look up info on Big Ben(the clock tower). It was completed in 1858.We had to do a Rugby passing drill and succeeded with flying colours.Our pitstop had to have the Big Ben and the Eye of London. We did that with ease and finished in 1st again! Mary's a bit mad but I'm sure she'll forgive me...! Anyways, talking about forgiving, Sam has asked for an alliance with us and we generously agreed. For anyone who wants to visit London, go to all these places and 1 more...Buckingham Palace! Hope we'll go somewhere interesting next leg of the race1

Hello Bubble-buds!

         As you may know the team has been having some trouble with the whole family part of things. :(. It all started in the beginning my younger sister Sam was never happy with all the bubble bums on the road and since we now all own a Bubble gum factory it has just been getting worse. Our grand parents have recently passed on so now we have control over everything in our life's and Sam has gone crazy with power. In there beginning she just wanted to have fun now all she wants to do is win. Hannah and i have recently realised that we have been betrayed. Sam was going behind our back to be a double agent with Team Super Stripes. Hannah and i don't know how she could go behind her sisters backs like this? The Bubble Gum factory is now only in Hannah and I's name but our hearts will be broken forever. :(. We will miss our little sister but if she is happy then that's what is best! Good luck Team Super Stripes but watch you back and you bubble! :P

Fourth Race - Berlin, Germany

Hey there fans!!!!

        I had to do the race alone today 'cause Mary was sick, and Sam got mad(and went with a different student). I flew on a plane alone to Berlin, Germany! Lots of people asked me questions, but I only understood a few. Then I had to find out what the tallest church is, how many steps it had and how tall it was. That was a bit tricky, but I managed anyways!The church is called Ulm Munster. What a weird name! I went to build the height of the church(32 blocks)and was the 4th or 5th team to finish that.After that experience... Well, I rested up and watched a video on a castle. That was easy... but then I had to answer 2 questions on it. I played a racing game, and had to finish in under 25 seconds.I was the only one who could do it! Then I found out the ingredients of black forest cake, and ate a whole slice. By this time I was ahead and didn't worry too much. I had to find out what Checkpoint Charlie was and it turns out it was the place where lots of people got shot trying to get to East Germany. I am currently staying at Hotel Konigshof. I was hoping to see the Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament, which is one of Berlin's most historical landmarks but you can't always what you want. I had fun but hope that Mary's back next week!
