2 weeeks with bubble-flu

Back to a group of two. :( As I am writing this my younger sister is racing with 4 minutes left to go. I hope my little sister is doing well! Dr. Bubble bunch has confirmed that i will be back next week, with a victory coming along with me.  Well its now 10:32 AM hope Hannah did well and more importantly had fun. :P

Well The Bubble FLU Is Getting To Us All in Hawaii

Well hello Bubble-Buds!

The Bubble flu is getting to us all and I guess it was just my turn. It turns out that the team is better and bubblier with all three. Well, my little sisters had to fly from Pearson International in Toronto, to Kona International in Hawaii. Second: Hannah and Sam had to learn what happened at Pearl Harbor and who won the "Battle". It turned out to be Japan. The sisters then had to play some good old battle ship and they did not do so well. Then they traveled to Mount Kilauea to find out the name of the volcano goddess which just happened to be Pele. The second language is OK for Hannah but a third not going to happen! The two girls had to learn some Hawaiian by finding the 12 consonants and vowels in the Hawaiian ABC's. There was then a fast forward but Hannah and Sam are not so great without me on pronunciation either. The next step was as if they were 5 again. They had to enjoy colouring in a pretty boy and he wasn't so pretty when the girls were finished. The girls are now in seventh place and tanning up a storm at the Pink Palace on the Pacific. All in all, good job girls!

Second Race- Athens Greece

Hey again, fans!
             First we booked a flight to Athens, Greece. We got a horrible flight and weren't in first! Then we had to find out what the largest temple in Athens is called.It was the Temple of Zeus(the Olympian). Who would've guessed? We had to find out the rules of pankration and what it was based on. Our tour guide got mad and wouldn't let us by, because we got the answer wrong the first time! I mean...really! Then Mary got to train for discus throwing and took 2 tries to knock all the targets down. After that we watched a bull jumping competition. Our tour guide asked us a question but then we got lost in the crowed and couldn't hear him. Anyways, we were stuck in the stadium and got to watch a George Dalaras performance! Boy, the stadium was PACKED! He was playing the bouzouki! What type of a name was that? Then we found our tour guide and had to take a CHANCE CHANCE CHANCE! Turns out I am HORRIBLE at luck! We got sore feet and spent 10 minutes getting them better.We traveled to the largest island in Greece! Turns out it was Crete... and I knew it! We took a Greek island cruse. We had trouble finding the landing dock, so we had to take the 2nd boat. All in all, it was a pretty good race, but I am a bit disappointed that we didn't see the Bourtzi Fortress, a really old castle. Wonder where we're going next week...

Second Race

Hey Hey Everybody!

               Hannah and i were a team of two once again. :( Our little sister is sick. On the bright side, first we came from Vancouver BC to Athens Greece our flight was not the best. then we had to find out what the largest temple in Athens. We not know its called the Temple Of Zeus. Third we had to find out Greek Olympics. Fourth I had to try out my disk throwing had, I'm pretty good. Fifth we found out a lot about Bull jumping. Sixth we learned that a Bouzouki is and instrument. Seventh Chance Chance Chance it turned out Hannah is not so good on the luck side. Eighth, Crete is the largest Greek island. Ninth now we are laying getting some sun on our Greek Island cruise.

First Race - British Columbia

Hey guys!
          First time racing! Boy it was super exciting! First we had to get 70% on a Canadian immigration test, even though I was born in Canada. We had a bit of trouble with that, but once we finished it, it was easy from there on! We traveled to Stanley Park in the Bubblegumobile and had to swat some mosquito's. Other teams had some trouble here, but we had fast reflexes and got through the first time and headed on to the yield! We yielded Team French sailors because they wouldn't have an alliance with us, which I totally thought was a mistake! Then we took part in a quiz and found out that Canada placed 3rd out of all the countries participating! That was awesome!After that, we tried to catch fish but only 1 of us could try. We faced off against the Gangsters at a hockey competition and won by scoring a goal. We found out what our national sports are (lacrosse and hockey) and then zoomed to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. I wish we could've went downhill skiing at Blackcomb, but there's always another day.

Our first Race was AMAZING

Our first race was in B.C. Our little sister was sick so Hannah and I started out for the best. Going as only a group of two was hard and hopes were down, but we kept on going.The first step was to complete the Canadian immigrants test so we were allowed into the country. The second step was to find Vancouver's famous park, Stanley Park. The third step was to splat some gross bugs (mosquitoes) and one got stuck in my Hubba Bubba bubble gum! YUCK! The forth step was the yield, in which we made no friends but just more enemies (we yielded Team French Sailors). The fifth step was to name the number of medals Canada won in last years Olympics. We had some trouble, but made it through. The sixth step was the road block... were we stopped to do some fishing and caught the correct fish. The seventh step, hockey (gross hockey). We needed to score on one of the worlds greatest goalies! I, being the only kind of hockey person in the family, got the goal. The eighth step was to find our fine countries national sport(s), from 1994(for those who care they're lacrosse and hockey). At the end we made it to the fine hotel The Fairmont Chateau Whistler. All in all we got third, Team Bubble Gum Bling was pretty good at a two player game.
